Frequently Asked Questions
1. I can't log into WiFi?
1a. Restart the Surface from the Windows menu (don't hold down power button on the side). Sometimes it takes a couple of times, but this corrects it almost every time.
2. What do I do when there is a trust relationship issue?
2a. If there is a trust relationship problem when they try to log on, have them label the device with their name and student ID on a sticky note and bring to the media center. Mr. Echols will be working to correct these and return to students.
3. What do I do if there are no logon servers?
3a. If they are given the no logon servers message when trying to log in: a) if this happened at home, the students should try and reconnect on the school WiFi. If it occurs at school, ensure that they are connected to the FCSStudent network.
*If none of the above solutions worked, the device will need to be fixed by Mr. Echols. Students can drop their device off in the media center (only if they have a pass from their teacher) with the following information attached to the device: student name, student ID, IT issue.
